We are now looking for two Data Stewards to join our teams within the CIB Data & Analytics Office and Product Lifecycle Management. CIB Data & Analytics Office is a department within CIB CIO, driving dialogue with SEB Group CDO, Analytics, and IT teams. We support new capabilities like cloud technology, data management & analytics toolkit, process digitalization, and regulatory initiatives. The Master Data and Analytics Office is a team within CIB Data & Analytics Office with the mission to leverage the value in data and help our division become data-driven by ensuring high-quality data is available and used to create value for the business and our customers. The Product Lifecycle Management team, also within the CIB CIO function, supports all product areas within the bank with a common product catalogue, digital sales capabilities, and centralized pricing & billing. Product master data is essential for digital sales, billing, governance, and regulatory reporting, providing a holistic view of SEB’s financial services and a broad internal network. About the roles:We are looking for two Data Stewards focusing on different areas: Data Steward – Customer, Fund & CRM Data (CIB Data & Analytics Office)You will ensure high-quality customer, fund, and CRM data is available and leveraged for business value.Responsibilities include:
• Supporting Data Owners in implementing data management responsibilities, including data sharing agreements.• Driving the availability and accessibility of data for analytics and insights.• Creating and maintaining the business glossary, definitions, and data models.• Establishing and maintaining metadata and classification within SEB’s Enterprise Data Catalogue.• Defining and implementing data quality controls and remediation processes.• Collaborating with architects, developers, and stakeholders to align data governance with business needs. Data Steward – Product Master Data (Product Lifecycle Management)You will focus on product master data, ensuring quality, accessibility, and correct modeling of SEB’s financial products. Responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with Data Owners to maintain and improve the product catalogue.• Driving information modeling to ensure accurate product representation.• Supporting data stewards across product areas and aligning data governance initiatives.• Engaging with product transformation, digitalization, and cloud initiatives.• Strengthening collaboration with customer master data teams and data steward networks. To thrive in these roles, we believe you have:• Proven experience in data management, data governance, or similar roles.• Strong analytical skills with the ability to bridge business and IT perspectives.• Experience in data modeling and metadata management (FIBO knowledge is a plus).• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.• A B.Sc in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or another relevant field.• Understanding of data quality, classification, protection, and regulatory requirements.• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.• Previous experience in financial services and agile working is beneficial. Do you want to be part of SEB?It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success.
