Power BI & SQL Developer

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of data projects using Power BI and SQL.
• Mentor and guide team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and evaluate new technology solutions to improve business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.

Software Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Power BI and SQL.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as blockchain, IoT, AI, etc.
• Strong technical knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

Technical Skills:

Power BI:

• Expertise in creating and managing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query for data manipulation and transformation.

SQL:

• Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying, manipulation, and database design.
• Experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Software Development Lifecycle:

• Strong technical knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

Emerging Technologies:

• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as blockchain, IoT, AI, etc.

Experience:

• At least 6+ years of experience in software development and leading technology projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects using emerging technologies.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Manage the development and delivery of data projects using Power BI and SQL.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy.
• Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve business processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in emerging technologies and data analytics tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Passionate about technology and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements.
