We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, OPS Data Management & Quantitative Analysis to join our Fund Risk Controlling, Accounting Operations team. This role is located in Frankfurt – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Development and enhancement of methods and solutions for fund risk controlling and fund risk reporting in line with regulatory requirements and best industry practices in Germany
- Design, implement and enhance rules for regulatory, contractual and internal investment compliance restrictions
- Contribute to the daily and monthly execution of fund risk controls, analysis, validation and reports, especially for ex-post investment compliance checks, leverage calculation and market risk / VaR / liquidity risk measurement
- Contribute to the regular generation and enhancement of regulatory and non-regulatory fund risk reporting such as the quarterly AIFMD reporting, the annual German derivatives ordinance report for UCITS funds, the quarterly VaR backtesting outlier reporting and additional monthly fund risk reporting to clients
- Contribution and representation of the team in cross-departmental projects as well as BVI working groups (German fund industry association)
- Implementation of process changes and process improvements
- Advice to clients for queries about fund risk controlling topics and fund risk reporting
- Point of contact for auditors for fund risk controlling topics and fund risk reporting
- Coordination of cross-departmental new instrument process
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Proven relevant work experience of 3-5 years, preferred in Fund Risk Controlling, Investment Compliance or similar financial services
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other similar discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Advanced skills in German language
- Fluent spoken and written English language skills
- Very good communication skills, experience in written & spoken client communication is preferable
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to withstand work pressure and deliver with speed and accuracy
- Flexibility towards tasks assigned, job timing and scope of responsibility
