Mortgages
A mortgage is one of the most important financial decisions in the life of our customers. Our purpose: we offer customers financial and emotional stability when purchasing their dream house and offer a carefree living afterwards. The team
We are looking for someone with an easy-to-work-with, mature and no-nonsense mentality. Someone who is an open and honest communicator, who values working as part of a team, who is willing and able to coach or train other developers and who is aware of developments and trends in the industry and corporate ecosystem. We are passionate about data and delivering the best product, to service our data product consumers both within and outside the department.
Roles, responsibilities
- design, development and operation of a new datastore to support the exchange of ING Mortgages data.
- support and improve the operation of existing datastores.
- migrate legacy systems and processes to the new datastore.
- administration of IT-Risk controls and participation in audits.
How to succeed
- a good communicator in English (verbal, written & presentation).
- 8 years or more of data engineering, data quality, data integration patterns and techniques.
- experience in Agile / Scrum or Kanban.
- analytical (understanding complexity and think from the impact point of view not just solving problem directly).
- 8 years or more of Java backend development.
- Java (ING TPA) API development, ICHP/Kubernetes, Docker.
- Kafka Connect, Kafka Schema Registry, Kafka Streams API.
- Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL.
- Linux and scripting.
- knowledgeable of controlling IT-Risk and Security Standards in banking industry.
- identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving production issues by using a range of monitoring, test and alerting tools (Configuration, change, incident and problem Management).
- build & deployment process automation (Azure DevOps, Ansible).
- being able to automate and execute test cases.
