Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a talented, collaborative, and highly motivated individual who has experienced in Computational Chemistry. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary research team to discover new small molecules for cancer treatments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build state-of-the-art drug design methods using computers
  • Design new drug candidates using computational chemistry, cheminformatics, and AI tools
  • Search and development of new AI and IT tools that can be used for drug discovery
  • Collaborate with core team members to advance projects
  • Identify and validate novel drug targets using computational methods
  • Define project objectives and strategy with the supervisor.
  • Interact with cutting-edge researchers from all over the world
  • Mentor a team of scientists for their SBDD skill up
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration and shared mission

Qualifications

  • Practical experience in various CAD-related drug discovery research or related field with 8+ years in Pharmaceutical biotechs or companies.
  • Docking, Virtual Screening, Molecular Simulation, Homology Modeling, Molecular Dynamics (MD) Computation, Quantum Mechanics, QSAR, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Chemoinformatics, Ligand-Based and Structure-Based Compound Design, Compound Library Design skills.
  • Programming (Python, R, Pipeline Pilot, etc.) skills, database-related knowledge, and experience.
  • Experience using data analysis software (Spotfire, Tableau, etc.)
    Computational chemistry software or script development skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and cross-functional drug discovery fields.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple research programs simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Highly motivated and can take action to take on new challenges.
