Senior Technology Audit Manager SG

Job Purpose:

A technical auditor with strong foundation in data analytics leveraging technical auditing expertise and data analysis capabilities to enhance the audit processes, identify risks and provide actionable insights to improve security posture and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement data analytics procedures to support and improve audit processes.
• Develop and maintain data analytics tools and methodologies for auditing.
• Perform data collection and preparation by gathering, clearing and preparing data from various source.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation for large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, anomalies by using statistical methods and tools.
• Perform data visualisation by creating reports and dashboards via Tableau to communicate findings.
• Conduct continuous auditing and Data Analytics in accordance with Corporate Assurance Framework, Technical Audit guidelines, Internal and External Regulations.
• Automate audit processes using scripting and data analytics techniques.
• Plan, lead and execute technical audits by performing control design assessment, design appropriate internal audit procedures and prepare internal audit reports with minimal supervision.
• Communicate and interact with all levels of stakeholders independently to analyse large data sets, trends and results to drive data driven risk decisions.
• Ensure audits are carried out efficiently and effectively by presenting agreed recommendations with management.
• Audit areas cover all aspects of technology governance (Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Applications, General IT Controls, etc) of CIMB Bank, Singapore Branch businesses which include retail and consumer banking, private banking, commercial banking, corporate banking, treasury and investment banking. 

 

Requirements:

• Recognised Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CIA, etc. CISA is preferred. Certified Data Analyst (CDA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data science/data engineering, technology internal/external audit or information technology governance, preferably in a financial institution, and well-versed with technology risk management, information security compliance and internal controls.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and provide guidance/assistance to other team members where necessary.
•  Understanding of IIA internal auditing standards, COBIT and COSO framework and risk assessment practices.
• Exhibit persuasive skills to effectively manage stakeholders and obtain management buy-in for constructive changes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
• Experience in processing data in SQL databases. Ability to manipulate datasets and build end-to-end process from ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) is an added advantage. 
• Knowledge of Python and R Programming for data analysis; familiarity with Scala, Java, C++, C# is an added advantage. 
• Experience in using data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models and other common machine learning techniques is an added advantage.
