Big Data Lead

Primary skills Snowflake, SQL, Snow SQL, Snowpipe 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake. Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, and advanced SQL. Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipeline in Snowflake. Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java. In-depth understanding of data modeling, star schema, and data warehousing concepts. Experience working with data integration tools(e.g., Datastage, dbt, Apache Airflow). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues in a Snowflake environment. Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and best practices for data security. Experience with data visualization tools(e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and working with business intelligence teams. • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to debug, rewrite and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for achieving workarounds. • Experience with Snowflake’s Snowpark and its capabilities(Python, Java, and Scala support). • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
