Job Overview:

We are looking to hire a Technical Writer to join our team for a temporary maternity leave replacement. This is a part-time position requiring availability five days a week, 4-5 hours per day.

As a Technical Writer, you will play a key role in making our AI solutions understandable and user-friendly for service industry professionals. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop high-quality documentation, including user guides, API references, tutorials, and technical articles. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content will be essential to our success. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain technical documentation for AI software products designed for the service industry, including user manuals, API documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Develop tutorials, walkthroughs, and best practices to help service industry professionals understand and utilize our AI solutions effectively.
• Write release notes, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides to assist customers and internal teams.
• Continuously improve documentation by incorporating user feedback and tracking industry best practices.
• Organize and structure content for clarity and ease of use, applying best practices in technical writing and information architecture.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in the software, AI, or service industry sectors.
• Native English speaking and writing skills are a must.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly - in English.
• Familiarity with walkthrough building tools like Pendo and WalkMe is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
