Senior Data Engineer / Analyst

Experienced Data Engineer/Analyst with expertise in Snowflake, Power BI, SQL, and stored procedure development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience transforming complex data into actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data storage solutions using Snowflake
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views within the Snowflake environment
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to transform raw data into meaningful insights
• Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and configure workspaces, dashboards, and apps for business users
• Utilize Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Streams, and Tasks to automate data processing
• Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering/analysis roles
• Extensive experience with Snowflake, including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and stored procedures
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX queries, data modeling, and visualization
• Experience with star and snowflake schemas in data warehouse concepts
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques
• Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices
• Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python for data analysis
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) 
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and implementation
• Experience with data migration and optimization within Snowflake
