Job mission
As part of ASM’s Global Services and Spares team, you will play a key role in driving installation qualification (IQ) performance and supporting continuous improvement across multiple regions. You will collaborate with teams in the US and EU to oversee IQ projects, align budgets, and enhance KPI performance. Your expertise will contribute to data-driven insights that optimize operational efficiency and improve reporting accuracy.
What you will be working on
- Partner with regional teams (primarily in the US and EU) to manage and support multiple active IQ projects.
- Monitor IQ performance and provide timely support for projects at risk of failing KPIs.
- Create and align IQ budgets with regional service managers to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Deliver training sessions on IQ tracking processes and any new KPIs introduced.
- Ensure accurate KPI tracking by defining, measuring, and monitoring dashboard metrics.
- Generate data-driven reports for stakeholders, ensuring they are timely and actionable.
- Identify and flag data irregularities in reports, ensuring the accuracy of the insights.
- Streamline reporting processes to keep them relevant, concise, and effective.
- Support ad-hoc activities related to training, NPI, and other programs within the business unit.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in the semiconductor industry, including:
- Installation, qualification, and decommissioning of tools.
- Preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor tools.
- Experience with micro scheduling and manpower planning for IQ projects.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional, multi-regional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering results under minimal supervision.
What sets you apart
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and reporting tools such as Qlik or Power BI.
- Experience optimizing and automating reporting processes.
