As our new Marketing Data Analyst you will be responsible for addressing a diverse and challenging range of problems to help us make better business decisions at Oxylabs.io.
You will work with multiple teams internally (marketing, commercial, product, sales, account management) in order to support their growth, to provide business trend analysis and actionable insights, to define key metrics and help them identify revenue opportunities. You will work with multiple teams internally (marketing, commercial, product, sales, account management) in order to support their growth, to provide business trend analysis and actionable insights, to define key metrics and help them identify revenue opportunities. Your day-to-day:
- Develop a foundational understanding of the relationships between customer behavior and our growth drivers through data analysis and data modelling;
- Assist in creating and maintaining self-service dashboards for stakeholders across the business, using PowerBI or Superset;
- Utilize analytical tools (SQL, Python, Google Sheets) to prepare and analyze data, supporting key decision-making processes;
- Identify new research areas that should be pursued and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders;
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to address stakeholder questions, focusing on commercial impact and effectively communicating your findings.
What we expect:
- 2+ years of experience working with business leaders in a previous analytical, consulting or marketing role;
- Proven track record of creating actionable insight and recommendations which have driven business impact;
- Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets where some of your exploratory analysis will take place;
- Experience building effective, easy-to-navigate dashboards PowerBI, Superset, Tableau, Looker, or other data visualization tools;
- Experience manipulating and analyzing data using SQL (mandatory) and Python (optional);
- You’re a problem solver at heart and a team player;
- You’re pragmatic and impact-focused: you will choose Excel over Python if it is a better solution for the problem and vice-versa;
- You’re commercially aware and user-focused – able to understand needs and identify priorities to unlock business value through analytics;
- You have a technical aptitude and don’t shy away from engineering-related discussions;
- You’re excellent at communicating in both written and spoken English.
- You’ve familiar with and/or worked with marketing metrics (funnel analysis, cohort analysis, campaign analysis) in your previous role(s).
It's a bonus, if you have the following:
Our tech stack*:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCS, BQ) for storage and warehousing;
- dbt and SQL for data modelling;
- Python for automation;
- Jupyter for ad-hoc analysis;
- PowerBI and Superset for data visualisation;
- Airflow for orchestration.
*We do not expect candidates to master or know all of these technologies today.
Salary:
- 3200 - 4500 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
