You will help improve and automate data management processes and will be responsible to complete data analysis, cleansing, validation and ensure successful migration of all required business data into the appropriate technology solutions. 

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

  • Oversee day to day activities
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
  • Assist Data department leader with coordination of projects, vacation, and training
  • Provide feedback to Data department leader for annual performance reviews 
  • Represent functional team in cross functional meetings and when issues are escalated
  • Set and align priorities to the company needs and requirements 
  • Assist in the design, planning, execution and validation of the data migration process
  • Identify source data requirements and quality
  • Data cleansing and de-duplication
  • Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities
  • Manage multiple conversion projects concurrently, taking responsibility for delivering the data correctly and timely
  • Map and specify the required transformations from the source data to the target data
  • Manage risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan
  • Provide documentation for all data sets and audit trails
  • Manage relationship with key data owners as required
  • Analyze post-migration user feedback and incorporate it into data migration procedure and quality control
  • Alert Manager to potential risks and issues of importance
  • Design, develop and test efficient tools to automate the validation and the modification of Data in the systems
  • Develop SQL databases and write applications to interface with SQL database. Often consists of designing tables, storing procedures, views and functions
  • Set up integrity controls of Data for the SAP and Parts Watch systems (Products, Suppliers, Customers, and Sites) and between legacy systems using various analysis tools (SAP Business Objects, SQL)
  • Act as technical specialist and train all Data Management team members on questions concerning SBO, SQL and data management best practices
  • Work on project deliverables while supporting daily production activities
  • Use and exploit the best practices available to manage and maintain Data.



Expertise & Essential Skills:

  • College or University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up
  • Demonstrates analytical skills with accuracy and thoroughness
  • Experience with complex source and target data analysis, cleansing and transformation in a phased data migration project
  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis (Excel, SQL, SBO)
  • Knowledge of SAP data management preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, written and spoken
  • Dependable, organized, responsible contributor committed to excellence, innovation, partnership and engagement
