ML Infra Specialist

Our team aims to define the worldwide standard for extended reality (XR) interaction with unparalleled software that accelerates research and creates novel capabilities.

This requires a passion for accelerating researchers building models in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) research. In our collaborative environment, you’ll partner with expert research scientists, hardware engineers, and software developers to build groundbreaking interaction hardware. You will tackle interesting technical challenges in AI to revolutionize how people interact with computing devices. • Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail while advocating for higher product quality and engineering efficiency
• Develop backend software used by annotators to label data and enable researchers who use the resulting datasets
• Develop custom/novel architectures, define use cases, and develop methodology & benchmarks to evaluate different approaches
• Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that make your larger organization more efficient
• Partner & collaborate with organizational leaders to help improve the level of performance of the team & organization
• Code using primarily C/C++, Java, Rust or Python
• Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in coordinating multiple developers in ML projects
• 5+ years of experience in software development across all levels of the stack
