Senior Decision Scientist – Product

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Decision Scientist to play a vital role in providing best in class analytics delivery services. In this role, you will have hands-on involvement in project management, business interpretation, application of solutions, client communication and insights/results delivery within the product sales and analytics space.

Successful candidates must have strong expertise in Tableau and SQL and will utilize a combination of data engineering, analytics, dashboarding, presentation development, and storytelling to generate actionable insights to help improve the customer experience across digital journeys.  As the solution owner of the project(s), you will serve as the single point of contact for cross-functional teams, and be responsible for successful project delivery. Additionally, you will collaborate with your team and peers to develop resourcing plans, manage revenue goals, and contribute to new business development.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery:

  • Being hands-on and Lead analytics delivery, guiding the team in data synthesis, modeling techniques, deriving actionable insights and helping them apply analytical techniques and frameworks.
  • Measure client impact using metrics like NPS, innovative solutions, and KPI improvements.
  • Make sure that all project deliverables are completed on schedule and in accordance with client’s needs and expectations; and meet all compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Talent Management:

  • Lead a motivated team, encouraging capability development through learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Attract, retain, and develop high-caliber talent.

Client Engagement:

  • Service Quality Assurance
  • Communication and Reporting
  • Support Client Relationship Management

Collaboration:

  • Work with sales, marketing, capability teams, and enabling functions to deliver higher value to clients.
  • Participate in the sales process to scope client needs and develop solution approaches.

Thought Leadership:

  • Contribute to practice development through thought leadership and scalable solutions for business problems.

Operations Management:

  • All aspects of client facing Project Management – Project Planning and Scheduling, Staffing Management, Risk Management, Quality Management, Communication Management, Performance Management, Project Closure
  • All aspects of internal Fractal processes related to Project Management – Project Configuration and Management, Revenue Cycle Management

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate, influence, and manage stakeholders at all levels, resolving differences and achieving clear outcomes.

Process Compliance:

  • Ensure process compliance, documentation, and knowledge management.
     

Successful Profile:

  • Proven track record in successful analytics project delivery
  • Preferred domain experience in product and sales analytics
  • Excellent presentation skills, engaging audiences from technical to senior business stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player, skilled in complex analysis and solution recommendations
     

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience with analytics project(s)
  • 4 or more years of leading analytics project(s)
  • Champion in SQL, Python, Visualization tools like Tableau, Advanced Analytics techniques and Gen AI preferred, Agentic AI good to have.
  • Deep understanding of one or more solution areas of Sales analytics, Product analytics, Impact measurement, and Automation.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning techniques and Gen AI.
  • Strong project/program management skills, managing multiple work streams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, innovation, and thought leadership skills.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changing business priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-driven with a can-do attitude and appetite for rapid career growth.
  • Master’s or equivalent experience in statistics, computer science, engineering, informatics, data science, or related field; additional MBA degree is a plus.

Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $110,000 to $160,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

Benefits:

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.  You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company.  In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.   The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
