Your Role

Procurement aims to leverage data for strategic decision-making and to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Procurement Data Governance Specialist is responsible for defining and managing data governance policies, rules, and standards to mitigate risks associated with procurement data. Develop and implement a centralized data management process for global procurement.

Data Governance will oversee the processes, policies, rules, and standards for managing critical data, ensuring integrity and accountability.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of governance policies, master data requirements, and an understanding of data usage in procurement and other business functions (Finance, Industrial Affairs, Supply Chain, Sustainability, etc.).

The ideal candidate will possess a prior knowledge of governance policies, master data requirements, business understanding of data and usage in various digital/data programs throughout Procurement and other business functions (Finance, Industrial Affairs, Supply Chain, Sustainability etc.).

Join our dynamic team as a Procurement Data Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and governance of our procurement data. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with various domain leads and contribute to the strategic objectives of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Procurement Data Owner and Data specialist, collaborating with domain/function data owners to ensure master data governance operations.

  • Coordinate data categorization, attribute data enrichment, and data validation processes.

  • Review and understand data requirements for projects, providing guidance on data governance.

  • Ensure alignment of data governance processes and standards with global and functional models.

  • Implement and monitor metrics to measure and report on data quality and governance.

  • Support future plans by creating pathways for information flow to a unified tool.

  • Translate data into insights and reports to enable procurement analytics for performance and decision-making.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics or any other related.

  • Experience in data governance, data security, and compliance within a global organization, ideally in procurement or Supply Chain.

  • High level of Fluency in English

  • Experience in developing master data management frameworks, aligning data definitions, and setting up data governance organizations.

  • Strong background in data management, including data collection, storage, and policy creation.

  • Knowledge of data governance tools (Informatica, Collibra, IBM) and Agile methodologies.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into data dependencies and requirements.

  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
