We’re seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to our mission of launching the next wave of successful startups. 
As a Data Engineer, you will work across multiple systems, collaborating closely with various teams. You’ll need to wear several hats typical to a startup environment and be responsible for end-to-end delivery, extending beyond traditional data engineering tasks. You'll manage the data infrastructure and serve data to both internal and external systems through APIs, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and systems using Databricks/Snowflake.
  • Implement Python-based solutions for data processing and analysis.
  • Manage and maintain highly efficient data architectures, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain APIs (GraphQL, gRPC) to serve data to internal or external systems.
  • Build and refine CI/CD processes to improve data workflows and ensure seamless deployments.
  • Collaborate with teams across engineering, data science, and product to deliver robust data solutions.
  • Apply deep knowledge of data engineering best practices and frameworks, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Work across multiple cloud environments, with a preference for Azure.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Snowflake experience or Databricks expertise for managing and optimizing large-scale data systems.
  • Python proficiency for data processing, scripting, and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering best practices, frameworks, and architectures.
  • Exceptional SQL proficiency for querying and managing complex data structures.
  • Experience with cloud services, particularly one or more of the major providers (Azure preferred).
  • Familiarity with APIs: experience working with GraphQL or gRPC is highly desirable.
