Edelman Data & Intelligence (DXI) is growing, and we’re looking for a Data Science Analyst with a strong analytical mind, a knack for storytelling through data, and the technical chops to clean, wrangle, and visualize complex datasets.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of data science, dashboard development, and client communication. In this role, you'll transform raw data into impactful visual insights, working closely with both clients and internal stakeholders to bring data stories to life. If you're passionate about turning messy datasets into meaningful narratives and want to work in a collaborative, people-first culture, this is the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Build interactive, client-facing dashboards using tools like Tableau, translating complex analytics into clear, actionable insights.
  • Design and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and custom metrics that align with client goals and integrate them into dashboards to track performance and drive strategic decisions.
  • Clean, merge, and restructure data from multiple sources using Python (or R) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client goals and translate them into analytical approaches and solutions.
  • Present data-driven findings and dashboards directly to clients in a compelling and insightful way.
  • Manage your work across multiple projects, staying on track with timelines and priorities.
  • Contribute to a culture of curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related).
  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of client-facing experience, ideally in a data analytics or consulting environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience building dashboards (preferably in Tableau) for external clients or stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis.
  • A passion for storytelling with data—someone who can not only analyze but communicate results in a compelling, visual way.
  • Interest or experience in marketing, communications, or media analytics is a plus

Additional Information:

  • This role requires you to be onsite 3 days per week in one of our listed office locations. Candidates must already be based in one of those cities.
  • Edelman offers a dynamic, supportive environment where your voice matters, and your ideas have impact.
  • Only candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship will be considered.
