We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Data Management, to join our Enterprise Data Governance team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Lead a global team of data and engineering professionals. Primary responsibility of the team is the effective and seamless delivery of pricing and security reference data to Accounting and Middle office platforms.
• Lead the Data Management involvement in client RFPs and Due Diligence meetings.
• Responsible for managing multiple development projects, often global in scope. Directs and provides guidance on the analysis and design of data delivery for incoming clients, and consistent with the corporate architectural models.
• Leads collaboration with Master Data Management operational delivery teams to ensure client requirements are understood and can be supported in the most effective way. 
• Analyses current business practices, processes, and procedures and helps to identify future business opportunities.
• Role holders will be part of Master Data Management leadership team and will be expected to play a key role in global leadership objectives.
• Leads analysis of industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the business unit and organization. Monitors compliance with procedures, policies and standards relating to master data management. 
• Recruits direct, motivate and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
   

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of experience related to data management experience, experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
• 4-8 years’ experience in team leadership
• Expert knowledge of internal platforms, especially Eagle
• Experience of industry vendors
• Experience of direct client interactions, and ability to speak to BNY Mellon solutions
• Experience in managing Risk, Control, and Governance
