JOB SUMMARY:
Analyze and process existing data systems as well as collect, categorize and process new data systems to prepare them for inclusion in existing applications. Create design environments that meet current demand, as well as are ready to expand as future demands change.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting identification of new opportunities for automation within the manufacturing process
- Analyzing engineering / manufacturing data environments to prepare for integration into applications
- Managing data sets in existing database and file system environments
- Simulating and testing automation processes or equipment to ensure they function as desired
- Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of automation solutions or processes
- Performing training where necessary to ensure implementation ensures sustainability
- Troubleshooting automated processes

Requirements
Basic:
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or Information Systems or data analytics, or similar degree or experience
- 2+ years of data analysis experience in developing automation solutions
- Experience in database management in mainstream database systems
- Very skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
- Solid understanding of software development techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot application problems and perform complex system tests
- Creative thinking skills
- Ability to communicate well with other members of the development team and with customers
- Strong attention to detail
- Successful candidate will complete: application, talent assessment, drug screen and background check.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Oracle database management is a plus
- Engineering competencies a plus
- Resides within reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri
