We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support an organization on optimizing its integrated business planning (IBP) and advanced analytics initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive targeted enrichment approaches, and shape strategic recommendations to improve overall demand forecasting, supply planning, and business outcomes. This position involves working with cutting-edge tools and leading stakeholders through transformational change.
Responsibilities- Use data-driven insights to recommend ways to increase “touchless” demand forecast updates where forecast value is minimal or negative.- Identify and report on areas where analytics performance can be improved, proposing enhancements to Data Science teams for bias and accuracy issues.- Implement and document business planning processes at an advanced maturity level, ensuring playbooks remain current with best practices.- Automate analytics and reporting to create clear, periodic recommendations with minimal manual effort.- Provide ongoing training and maintain updated change management documents, guiding Demand Planners, IBP leads, and stakeholders on new processes.- Support strategic objectives related to revenue, profit, and market share, while delivering value for all deployed IBP markets.- Communicate complex analytics and supply chain concepts to a variety of audiences, influencing decisions at both operational and executive levels.- Lead process transformation efforts with Demand and Supply Planning teams, building strong relationships across multiple business units and geographies.- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships, conducting impact assessments and implementing action plans to address change.- Mentor and lead direct reports, fostering professional development and a culture of collaboration.
Qualifications- Substantial experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, IBP, or a similar functional consulting role.- Familiarity with advanced planning tools or systems (for example, o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Anaplan).- Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end planning processes.- Strong data analysis skills in Excel or SQL; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.- Proven communication, leadership, and project management abilities, with a track record of influencing senior-level stakeholders and driving change.
