Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Platform Manager with a robust background in Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Modeling and Product Management to join our dynamic eCommerce team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining powerful commercial analytics dashboards powered by cutting-edge AI and ML algorithms that significantly aid our sales organization with timely and accurate diagnostic and predictive projections. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities who thrives in a fast-paced, complex, and matrixed environment.  The work also entails developing AI Powered Expert Systems that deliver real-time insights, driving proactive actions and data driven decisions across the entire organization.  
 

Key Responsibilities

• Analytics Dashboard: Design, develop, and maintain advanced commercial analytics dashboards that provide critical insights and projections for the sales team.
• Visualization: Build smart, insights-driven visualizations to help the sales team understand data trends and make informed decisions.
• Collaborative Analysis: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
• Data Management: Utilize various data tools and platforms to collect, process, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Communication: Clearly communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
• Problem-Solving: Tackle complex problems and develop innovative solutions using data analysis techniques.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Adapt and respond quickly to changing business needs and priorities in a high-energy, fast-paced setting.
• Matrixed Organization: Navigate and collaborate effectively within a complex, matrixed organizational structure.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on commercial analytics and dashboard creation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data tools and platforms such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
• Product Management: Proven experience in product management, understanding product life cycles, and integrating data analytics into product strategies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative Skills: Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights to support business goals.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for developing innovative solutions.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Matrixed Organization: Experience working within a complex, matrixed organization and effectively navigating its structure.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the [specific industry] is highly desirable.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in data analysis, data science, or product management.
• Advanced Tools: Experience with advanced analytical tools and platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
