Sr Backend Python Developer - 100% Remote 12+ months

Mandatory requirement for Backend Lead role, EST coverage to 1 pm est. Long term role and managing on offshore team is a MUST
1. 9-10+ years of experience as a developer
2. Strong experience in Python application design & development - Python, Django/FastAPI/Flask, AWS
3. Strong in OOPS
4. Should be playing role of Tech lead - Code reviews and architecture with "Hands On" skills to do coding too.

Other notes
1. Candidates from reputed tech companies are preferred
2. Interview focus area for Tech lead to manage the offshore team and work thru 1 pm est
   a. Basic coding exercise which the candidate is expected to complete quickly
   b. Code architecture question where candidate will be tested for data structure, design and coding ability
3. India based candidates are preferred
4. AI & UI background is optional 
5. Candidates presented so far have worked on impressive projects, but fared badly in Coding round

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Python & React Engineer - Remote to lead the offshore team development team.

You are proficient with Python, React.js and BONUS if you know Golang. 
We need 1 Senior Lead who should have expert level experience (10+ years minimum) building modern back-end & front-end systems.

You are comfortable in the lead role and contributing to all aspects of the development process. You will work with a talented team in a highly collaborative environment. You will help plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy distributed, highly available applications and services.

Role Includes

• Participate in the definition, development and documentation of software's requirements, objectives, and specifications for each project.
  
• Participates in the design, development and testing of solutions.
  
• Analyze incidents and problems related to current processes and implement solutions.
  
• Design and maintain data quality checks, including code inspections, unit testing, regression testing and documentation.
  
• Document software architecture and flows.
  
• Assist in the development of internal policies and procedures (standards, controls and metrics).
  
• Provide technical leadership across all areas of IT.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 6+ years of development experience using Python and relational databases
  
• Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies.
  
• Experience with AWS cloud platform highly preferred.
  
• Familiarity with ORM libraries
  
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
  
• Extensive hands-on working experience with React, & Express frameworks and libraries such as Express or Async or Lodash or socket etc.
  
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc.
  
• Extensive hands-on experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS and SASS
  
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs & Backend APIs
  
• Experience with authorization mechanisms, such as JSON, Web Token etc.
  
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, etc.
  
• Experience writing JavaScript Unit Tests
  
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
  
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirement
