We are seeking a Senior Applied Researcher to lead cutting-edge research in LLMs and Generative AI, with a focus on customizing models for domain-intensive enterprise applications. As AI continues to evolve, domain-adapted models are essential for enhanced performance and task specialization. Your work will advance state-of-the-art AI, making custom LLMs more accessible and cost-effective for real-world applications across industries.

In this role, you will develop novel architectures, optimizations, and domain-specific applications, mentor researchers and engineering teams, and collaborate with enterprise customers to train, deploy, and refine custom LLMs and SLMs. Your expertise will ensure continued innovation in LLM customization and applied AI research.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop advanced AI models, including novel architectures, system optimizations, and data-driven improvements to push beyond existing benchmarks.
• Conduct research on optimization algorithms, model design, and training techniques tailored for domain-specific needs.
• Contribute to the AI community through research publications, technical blogs, and industry insights.
• Work closely with engineering teams to deploy scalable models and make them accessible for enterprise applications.
• Mentor and guide applied researchers, fostering a culture of deep technical expertise and innovation.
• Engage with enterprise customers to help them leverage customized AI solutions, ensuring models continuously improve through feedback-driven enhancements.
• Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, ensuring research remains cutting-edge and practically applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Machine Learning and Applied AI Research.
• 5+ years of experience developing advanced AI models and applications.
• Proven expertise in model optimization, architecture design, and data-centric AI methodologies.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying large-scale AI systems.
• Strong mentorship skills to guide applied researchers and engineers.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to bridge research with real-world enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
