Strategic Sourcing Data Analyst, Graduate Intern

Position Summary:

This internship provides a unique opportunity to assist with a variety of projects within the Strategic Sourcing Department and gain experience in supply chain operations. This role will contribute to the overall success of strategic sourcing by driving data driven decision making. You will interact with a variety of functions, while assisting the team with various tasks in the strategic sourcing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze operational and supply chain data to find opportunities for cost reduction and value creation (improved quality, cost, service, and compliance).

• Work with stakeholders in the Supply Chain Team to support data-driven decision-making in areas such as cost management, supplier risk management and supplier optimization.

• Perform analysis to support development and implementation of various sourcing strategies, including RFP’s.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by cleaning, validating, and structuring data from various sources to support analytical reporting needs

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide actionable insights.

Program Requirements:

• Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a graduate degree in an area of studies related to computer science, data science, supply chain management or related field.

• Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program.

Experience Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to analyze basic datasets and communicate findings clearly.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI.

• Strong SQL experience.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skill, with the ability to support stakeholders in simple, data-driven decisions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A passion to learn new concepts, work hard and have fun!
