Data Science Senior Associate 1

Overall governance

1. Ensure understanding of data management policies, standards, and work procedures to perform tasks according to function policies and frameworks, ensuring alignment and compliance with legal regulations and the company’s overall direction, standards, and governance.
2. Support periodic revisions of policies, standards, guidelines, work processes, and procedures relevant to data scientist work to ensure efficient operations and alignment with company policies & compliance with relevant governance.
3. Ensure the responsible use of AI technologies, adhering to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements, to build trust and transparency within the organization and with stakeholders.

Functional-related accountabilities

1. Coordinate key issues with stakeholders, including management teams and other relevant functions, to identify opportunities for leveraging company data sets and implementing AI models to address business challenges and drive solutions.
2. Identify and maintain the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques, pre-process structured and unstructured data, and validate data integrity to ensure readiness for AI analysis.
3. Perform research and develop custom AI models and algorithms applicable to distinct data sets, ensuring high precision and effectiveness in AI-driven data analysis.
4. Apply and maintain predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to increase and optimize business outcomes, utilizing AI-driven insights to support various business functions.
5. Mine and analyze large datasets from company databases using AI techniques to discover trends, patterns, and solutions that lead to the optimization and improvement of business functions' performance.
6. Prepare tailored documents and reports utilizing AI-enhanced data visualization techniques to communicate meaningful insights to relevant stakeholders.
7. Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and machine learning technologies, continuously learning new data-related technologies, and recommending the application of new AI-driven technologies where appropriate.

2. Lead regular meetings and updates with team members, providing feedback, promoting team spirit, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
