We are currently searching for a Big Data Lead-Snowflake:
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to load data from various sources into Snowflake.
- Optimize Snowflake performance, including query tuning, clustering, and partitioning strategies.
- Design and implement data engineering solutions following best practices.
- Utilize MS SQL for data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure data solutions align with objectives.
- Implement and maintain data pipelines as part of ELT deployment strategies.
- Work with programming and scripting languages such as Python, .NET, etc.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake in an ELT deployment environment.
- Proficiency in MS SQL, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Desired
- Experience leading and managing database migration projects.
- Background in the financial services industry.
- Experience with data integration tools (SSIS, SSAS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps for data pipelines.
- Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) is preferred.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
