We are seeking an ERP Data Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract in a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days onsite at our Greystanes office. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful migration and validation of product Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Management data into our new ERP environment. You will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to analyze and manage large, complex data sets, ensuring alignment with customer, business, and regulatory/compliance requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse and cleanse data before migration and confirm field mapping accuracy between current and new ERP systems

  • Validate new and as-is engineering change management processes and functionality

  • Participate in design workshops with developers and SMEs

  • Participate in all data migration workshops

  • Review user stories and update as required based on business requirements

  • Work with IT developers to ensure ERP functionalities are delivered as per user requirements

  • Participate in user acceptance and end-to-end testing scenarios and analyse results for accuracy

  • Review and update training materials for users and participate in training workshops

  • Negotiate requirements and decisions effectively across a range of teams

  • Assist Sales and Operations with queries and troubleshooting product information issues

  • Navigate complexities and escalate to IT with proposed solutions where required

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Science, or related disciplines

  • Clear understanding of and experience with data, hardware, and software within an Engineering and Manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with ERP systems in a supply chain environment

  • Solid understanding of product management and engineering change management processes

  • Proven oral and written communication skills

  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to negotiate and provide recommendations when required

  • Project management skills

  • A team player, cooperative; easily gains trust and support of peers; encourages collaboration

  • Positive attitude, including when faced with adversity

  • Willingness to learn about the business and promote continuous improvement
