We’re looking for a talented IT Data Developer - Data Engineer - Analytics Consultant for our EMEA IT Hub team at Aliaxis Poland. Our ideal candidate will have good literacy in English, backed with solid IT Data background: IT related degree (computer - data science or similar) or / and 3-5 years of hands-on experience, preferably in international company. We are offering Hybrid work, and it is suggested being located near Wroclaw, Poland where we have our IT Hub located.

Job description  

Reporting to Data Team Leader the IT Data Developer / Software Data Engineer will play a key role in our EMEA IT Data team (10 employees). The role is based on Aliaxis EMEA IT Hub, Wroclaw, ul. Powstańców Śląskich 9 and may require no travelling across the region. 

Role purpose:

• A Data Platform Developer builds a data warehouse powered from various sources and reports according to functional and technical requirements.
• An employee in this position maintains and supports existing processes, databases and reports on a daily basis.

Key Accountabilities 

• Building and delivering databases, processes and reports
• Attention to the quality of solutions and compliance with requirements and standards
• Daily support for solutions and users
• Solving problems and proposing new technical solutions
• Creating and updating technical documentation

Requirements 

• 3-5 years of professional experience within the Enterprise Intelligence field (Data Analytics, Data Warehouse modelling, Data Lake setup, Data cleansing, ETL, …)
• Good understanding of end-to-end BI flow, like daily data refresh, data quality and data monitoring activities, performance optimization, data modelling
• SQL proficiency (at least 5 years of experience with: Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, …)
• Experience with several of the following tools: Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, BO Web Intelligence… Data Platform: Snowflake, Azure Data factory, ADLS, Azure DevOps, Atlan Data Catalog, …
• Experience in working in an international environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including technical writing skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career with the IT EMEA Data team.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-discipline and engagement.
