Our team

You will join the Hospitality Division at Amadeus, working within a multicultural, English-speaking team. Specifically, you will collaborate with the engineers of the Rates team, focusing on enhancing the quality assurance (QA) process. At Amadeus, we are committed to transforming travel through technology, and as part of our team, you will contribute to creating innovative solutions that improve our testing workflows.

Role Overview

As an apprentice, you will be involved in a key project aimed at streamlining and automating the regression test analysis process. Your mission will be to design and implement a solution that reduces the manual effort required to identify recurring test failures, allowing QA engineers to focus on critical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the current regression testing process and identify manual steps that can be automated.

• Collaborate with QA engineers to understand their challenges and gather requirements.

• Develop a tool or system to automatically classify test failures (new vs. known issues).

• Utilize techniques such as pattern recognition, log comparison, or AI/ML to improve test analysis efficiency.

• Integrate the solution with existing QA tools and workflows.

• Document and validate the developed solution with mentors and team members.

Your Profile

• Experience or knowledge in programming languages such as Python or Java.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., ReadyAPI).

• Understanding of test management and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

• Knowledge of REST/JSON API communication.

• Interest in data analysis, with potential applications in pattern recognition or machine learning.
