Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer (x|f|m) - Hybrid

We are looking for a Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer (x|f|m) for the AI & Data Science department at Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH.
In your role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the infrastructure and processes required to efficiently run and scale machine learning models in our production environments.

This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at
our headquarters in Göttingen or Berlin with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• You will play a crucial role in the deployment and management of machine learning models in production implementation and ensure their efficiency, scalability and robustness

• You will also design, build and automate the lifecycle management of ML models, working closely with our Data Engineers and ScientistsBy applying MLOps and DevOps principles

• You will optimize the deployment process and accelerate the transition from development to production

• Setting up robust monitoring systems to evaluate model performance and data change rounds off your area of responsibility

 What will convince us

• You have a degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, physics or a comparable specialization

• You have extensive experience in the deployment and management of machine learning models in production, with a comprehensive understanding of the associated challenges

• We require strong knowledge of platforms and frameworks in the area of ​​DevOps and MLOps (MLFlow, Azure DevOps, Databricks or similar).

• You can demonstrate a thorough understanding of concepts such as model and data set management, CI/CD, Gitflow, container management and infrastructure-as-code

• A good understanding of ML concepts and frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, LangChain or similar is a plus

• You are characterized by high analytical skills, an independent and quality-oriented way of working and a professional appearance

• Fluent English skills complete your profile, knowledge of German is a plus
