Supply Chain Consultant – Operational Data Specialist
The E&I Business/Supply Chain organization has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Consultant – Operational Data Specialist. This position is in the US and is part of global team of Continuous Improvement specialist that work with all Electronics business teams to deliver incremental benefits across manufacturing, customer service, logistics, supply chain planning and execution. A successful candidate will lead data integration with business functions and related process and tool improvements to support supply chain process excellence. The Operational Data SME will collaborate with cross-functional teams in the application of master data standards, integration best practices, and development in alignment with supply Chain excellence and corporate standards. This role reports to the Business/Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Team Leader.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Expert consultation: Work with IT/customer service to investigate SAP practices, data, and configuration. Work with business Key Users and functional experts to gather requirements and translate those requirements into SAP data required. Support supply chain process excellence through development and application of standard data integration tools.
- Problem solving: Collaborate with Supply Chain experts to ensure planning strategies are reflected in the overall SAP and OMP planning configuration and master data standards. Design data integration for the OMP Operational solution for multiple SAP systems, including Demand and Aggregate Supply Planning
- Project Support: Collaborate with OMP functional leads on data maintenance rules and logic for planning and scheduling. Lead or participate in business supply chain improvement projects within the Electronics organization.
- Content development: SAP Master data preparation and validation – work with businesses on data readiness, cleanup and OMP master data transformation. Validate all master data rules, exceptions and mappings are in place.
- Quality Assurance: Develop strategy and test cases for OMP related to SAP integration.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and presentations to enhance the team's understanding of data dependencies.
- Stakeholder engagement: Work with change management leads on data training and governance for business owners.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; prefer in Information Systems, Supply Chain or Engineering, with demonstrated expertise in design of SAP integration.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on business or operational expertise in SAP of SAP ECC and R/3 production planning data management.
- Working knowledge of SAP ECC and R/3 Order to Cash and Manufacturing process configuration
- Understanding of SAP data sources such as product hierarchy, Planning Hierarchy, and ability to map and validate data
- Knowledge or experience in OMP and/or SAP APO is preferred
- Proficiency using Excel for data manipulation and analysis
Key Experiences:
- Worked with diverse team members and business partners in different geographical locations
- Good working knowledge of Supply Chain business planning processes
- Implementation or development of business and operational ERP data, from requirements gathering through implementation
- Ability to understand and work across multiple workstreams including Business Planning, Manufacturing, Order to Cash, Requisition to Pay and Warehouse Management
- Ability to define, integrate, and deliver solutions
- Good judgment and sound analytical skills
- Willingness to own and drive issues and projects
