Main Purpose:

Customer onboarding is a crucial role in making it as easy as possible for our customers to do business with us. As MDM analyst, you will lead our customers through the onboarding process quickly, securely and without surprises through disciplined project governance and proven methodology. You will work across the firm locally & globally in close coordination with partners in Sales, Credit, Pricing, and Compliance.

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end onboarding activities, including creating accounts in Navision/Salesforce/other systems, and while maintaining accurate data to ensure a fast and efficient turnaround time (TAT). In addition, the role includes updating fuel and lubes pricing in Navision and aviation pricing in Supplier One based on affiliate schedules. Accuracy is non-negotiable, with zero tolerance for errors. Clear & effective communication with customers and stakeholders is essential to ensure smooth and timely execution of all tasks. You shall possess ability to work independently or as a part of the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Onboarding

  • Responsible for onboarding the prospect as a customer of Puma Energy
  • Provide a list of required documents to the customer for the onboarding process. Maintains confidentiality, and handles all documents with the utmost sensitivity
  • Review documentation for entities such as corporations, trusts, private holding companies, and individuals in accordance with policy and jurisdiction for all KYC documents, and raise requests for additional information or documents
  • Call the customer to get the required information/documents; Communicate to customers with empathy and exceptional precision
  • Raise the KYC, credit and pricing request for the new customer, track & complete the end-to-end customer onboarding
  • Maintain absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters and be detail-oriented and results-focused
  • Accurately record the relevant data in systems, communicate the onboarding stages to stakeholders & customer

Master Data Management

  • Create, modify & update customer master data in systems Salesforce, Navision, Payment 24, Supplier One etc.
  • Ensures awareness and full compliance of internal processes, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, and practices.
  • Daily deliverable of routine and defined tasks, while developing knowledge of the broader context in which work is being performed
  • Ensure master data objects are controlled & setup, created as per policies defined
  • Help create new & improved processes for customer/supplier master data management

  • Manage data policy & processes maps for the associated master data object
  • Act as a SME for a domain’s master data related questions and coordinate with IT and Business for the various system implementations
  • Partner with the Data Officer to implement rules, policies and controls to ensure master data is complete, consistent and accurate
  • Design Data quality issues to identify areas for data quality improvement and execute action plans to resolve issues
  • Implement process controls & improvements for prevention of data quality issues and integrity across key systems
  • Follow up with data owners/users to remediate data issues in order to maintain the agreed levels of quality
  • Daily capturing, uploading and controlling of data files from trading systems into accounting system ledgers
  • Performing system integrity checks, correcting errors immediately where possible or managing the issue with IT and business teams
  • Partner with the Data Officer to implement rules, policies and controls to ensure master data is complete, consistent and accurate
  • Help design and manage Master data workflows to improve processes

Requirements:

Qualification:

  • French speaking certification required, minimum B1 or above
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration, International Business or similar field
  • Master’s degree in Business Management such as MBA (preferred, not mandatory)
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles (preferred, not mandatory)

Skills

  • Display excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral, with exceptional follow-up and follow-through abilities
  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement skills and fluency in English
  • Collaborate effectively, demonstrating partnership and influencing skills with flexibility and adaptability
  • Identify critical requirements and potential gaps by understanding complex and interdependent processes
  • Experience working cross-culturally and in a Global environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong prioritization and time management skills required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite like Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
