Job Title: BI Developer

Job Summary:      

The BI Developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing current Power BI reports/dashboards/visualizations, developing new reports as required for business needs, and working with the rest of the development team to design and architect the growth of the BI/Analytics platform

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:    

• Develops and maintains new and existing Power BI reports
• Troubleshoots production issues with model refreshes and report functionality
• Documents new and modified reports, develops and/or translates user and technical documentation on new or modified functionality alongside Business Analysts and QA
• Test report modifications against user specifications
• Collaborates with other developers on the design of new enhancements and/or reports
• Researches and evaluates technology, third-party libraries, and other industry trends to assist with providing the best solutions 
• Provides aid and guidance during the QA & UAT phases to quickly confirm the validity of potential issues and to determine the root cause and best resolution of verified issues
• Attends meetings and regularly communicates with team members and business stakeholders and any other duties as assigned by manager 

Qualifications:       

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering, associated discipline, or equivalent technical experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of BI/report development tools with TSQL and/or PL/SQL experience preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including, but not limited to, safety policies, procedure manuals, and documentation. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations
• Experience with developing Power BI reports required
• Knowledge of SAP SQL Developer and SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server and Oracle stored procedures and functions preferred
• Experience with JDEdwards EnterpriseOne 9.20 database tables and structure preferred
• Knowledge of Informatica and/or data warehousing strategies preferred
