Our teams of technical experts specialize in harnessing live sporting data, using advanced cloud technologies, Java, JavaScript and Python. It is these tech teams that enable us to extract patterns through AI and Machine Learning and deliver our insights via APIs. In short, they turn complex data into magical experiences with cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities:
As a Performance Data Training Lead, you will be responsible for:
• Govern, deliver and service the training and learning needs of the data collection Performance Data area
• Partner with Key Stakeholders to collaboratively launch consistent training structures across all Performance &
Tracking Data Collection teams across the business.
• Owning, improving, and implementing proper training strategies, to maximise collection accuracy from both,
new and existing Data Collectors in Performance & Tracking Data.
• Design, deliver and implement consistent training standards and blended learning processes for all Performance
& Tracking Data collection operations.
• Administrating and improving training processes for all Performance & Tracking Data Collection.
• Collaborate with trainers in all Operational areas to further develop training and to constantly improve Stats
Performs training programs and structures.
• Managing and supporting our Performance Data Training Specialists.
• Become proficient in using the Stats Perform Academy tool and autonomously guide any implementation and
updates.
• Conducting maintenance and improvement control on the quality of existing and upcoming training content for
the Stats Perform Academy.
• Assisting local operational teams with the planning, co-ordination & ad-hoc delivery of standardised instructorled trainings.
• Ensure all training records on the training database and other systems are updated including training requests,
training events, evaluation data and all learning activities are recorded accordingly.
• Launch continuous reporting on training and measure against KPIs.
• Establish a Train the Trainer policy concerning training processes within Performance Data operations.
• Create, monitor, and regularly improve training content and processes on the Stats Perform Academy for
training(s) and retraining(s) with a focus on blended learning.
• Deliver training in specialist areas where required.
• Lead and manage projects to improve the training content, structure, and standards.
• Collaborating with internal teams to further develop Performance Data collection tools & products.
• Collaborating with internal teams to monitor, evaluate and feedback on the quality of Data Collectors and
pointing out possible training deficiencies.
Desired Qualifications:
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.
• An in-depth knowledge of Performance Data Collection & Tools.
• A detailed knowledge of Tracking Data Collection & Tools.
• Strong project management skills and experience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ISO 9001 Awareness
• Ability to create engaging learning content such as videos, online courses, or other materials, by using video
editing and authoring tools (such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Captivate).
• Strong relationship building, able to communicate at all levels.
• Experience in training and retraining existing staff and new hires.
• General passion for training and improving performance of staff.
• Experience in e-learning content creation tools.
• Has experience in working independently as well as in coordinating with teams and stakeholders in various
locations.
It would be great if you have below:
• Have been responsible for the review, definition and continuous improvement and evaluation of training programmes.
• Learning & development experience in the sports media business.
• Confident using technical devices and passionate about automated technological innovations.
• Has shown leadership skills in project management environment.
• Communicates effectively and has the ability to engage remote teams.
• Additional knowledge or background in other data collection fields is advantageous.
• Experience in using and administrating a Learning Management System.
• Experience collecting software requirements.
• Has line-manager experience.
