Data Analyst II, Member Management

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between data engineers, software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate data from diverse sources into the member data pipeline

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable SQL code (we use BigQuery and dbt)

• Analyze data from managed care partners, electronic health record (EHR) systems, our internal care management platform, and third-party vendors to answer stakeholder questions and uncover gaps in our pipeline

• Work within our master data management (MDM) platform to resolve issues related to member identity resolution and identify opportunities to improve our matching algorithms

• Develop recommendations to ensure the reliability and timely delivery of member data assets
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative disciplines such as Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business

• 3+ years of experience cleaning, analyzing, and managing patient healthcare data from managed care organizations, electronic medical records systems, and health information exchanges

• Ability to translate complex business logic into modular, readable SQL queries and contribute code to a shared Git repository

• Knowledge of foundational concepts related to identity resolution and management 

• Excellent written and verbal communication; must be comfortable asking questions and communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

• Strong investigative skills; the ideal candidate is deeply curious and willing to chase an answer through a complex data pipeline spanning multiple platforms and teams

This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is: 

$90,000 - $102,000
