Director, Business Intelligence ($186,900.00-$230,100.00)

Position Summary:

The Director of Business Intelligence drives impactful BI initiatives across our business units, transforming data into strategic advantages. This leader designs, deploys, and scales analytics solutions that directly advance organizational goals while leveraging established frameworks. This role champions execution excellence and cultivates a data-first mindset throughout the organization, turning information into measurable outcomes and promoting the evolution of analytics through the use of AI. 

Job Duties:

• Execute BI initiatives aligned with department objectives to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document project requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts and developers, providing guidance and feedback.
• Present data insights clearly for stakeholders.
• Keep current on BI technologies and recommend improvements.
• Monitor data quality and integrity in BI processes and implement corrective measures.
• Regularly review and update project budgets to reflect changes in the project's financial situation.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial accountability

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Education & Experience: 

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in data analytics or BI, including 5+ years in team leadership roles.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Google, Snowflake, AWS).
• Experience managing BI projects with analytics deliverables.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.

Other: 

• Expertise in data modeling, analytics, and data governance principles.
• Effective communication skills for team coordination and stakeholder interactions.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Foundational technical expertise in analytics, ETL, SQL, programming, and data visualization tools. 
• Specific experience in Snowflake, dbt, Matillion, Fivetran, Boomi, Tableau, Business Objects, Python, Jupyter a plus.
   

 Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $186,900.00 - $230,100.00

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
