About the Role:

Head of Data Transformation, Product Design

We are seeking an experienced financial markets technology professional to join our Product Design team in Stockholm.


Our data transformation strategy is in-flight with validated data and an established ingestion & consumption technical framework. At this critical inflection point, the ideal candidate will spearhead the scaling, refinement and progressive rollout of our data platform and its associated capabilities with a focus on driving its overall vision, scope and governance framework.
The role will report into the Head of Product Design for our Trade Processing and Trade Lifecycle Division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Data Stewardship: Develop a clear view of our transaction and related data, whilst working closely with adjacent teams to understand how it is capture, structured, the applicable consent and privacy models as well as its accessibility. Own the data discovery process across OSTTRA’s commercial divisions to maintain a view of proprietary and complementary datasets.

  • Data Lineage: Provide transparency into the origins of the data in the platform to build trust in its accuracy and in turn demonstrating its usefulness in insight generation services.

  • Empowering AI/ML Based Service Enhancements: Demonstrate the value of the data platform for informed decision-making, whilst recognising the variation in data quality across the platform.

  • Strategic Platform Governance: Collaborate to define the governance model tailored to the ecosystem around the platform, from ingestion through to internal and 3rd party access.

  • Commercialisation and Adoption: Drive the adoption of the platform by collaborating across business functions and with key clients. Adopt our product development framework for Identifying, validating, iterating and launching new functionalities targeting well-defined use cases and communicating use cases. Provide expertise into the commercialisation of the data strategy.

  • Roadmap: Maintain a comprehensive roadmap for the platform, spanning all OSTTRA service applications and drive the platform’s progressive delivery of value to our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Substantial experience in transactional financial markets data, from key trade economics, through lifecycle management to regulatory reporting and how that data can be used to build resilient and agile integrations between new and legacy systems.

  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial and business drivers amongst our market participant client base. An appreciation for how this market makes investment, integration and partnership decisions.

  • Legal & Regulatory Acumen: Experience in navigating and designing solutions against a backdrop of regulatory change, managing the risks through close industry collaboration.

  • Client Engagement and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage, collaborate and build trust with clients.

  • Innovative Problem-solving Mindset: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.

  • Technical Aptitude: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of best in breed technologies aimed at maximising the value derived from data consolidation within an environment that promotes data security and complex permissioning structures.

  • Data Licensing: Experience in establishing data licensing concepts fit for internal & 3rd party use cases 

  • Efficiency & Optimisation Focused: Applies an efficiency lens to every aspect of their work. Continuously looking to streamline and achieve efficiency gains by focusing on optimising around what matters most.
