As we continue our journey to becoming the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are looking for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to lead and develop our marketing analytics function. This is a pivotal role where you will take full ownership of our marketing data strategy, driving advanced analytics and automation to optimize marketing ROI and scale our growth across the Nordics.

Be in the Driver’s Seat

As our new Senior Marketing Data Analyst, you won’t just be working with data—you will be shaping and evolving the way we leverage data across marketing. You will set the vision for how we use analytics to fuel our marketing efforts, establish best practices, and build a function that delivers high-impact insights and measurable business outcomes.

You’ll be based in Copenhagen, embedded within our Audience and Acquisition team, reporting to Sally Armstrong. The team currently comprises 5 amazing individuals focused on leveraging data-driven insights to fuel customer acquisition and engagement within the broader Marketing function, led by Manuel Douchez. But you’ll be the one steering the marketing analytics ship - driving strategy, developing methodologies, and making sure data is at the heart of every decision we make.

What Will You Do?

  • Set and drive the strategy for marketing analytics, defining how we measure and optimize marketing effectiveness.

  • Establish and implement best practices for data analysis, reporting, and visualization, ensuring marketing performance is continuously improved.

  • Lead and innovate in advanced attribution modeling, leveraging machine learning, MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling), and Bayesian techniques to optimize marketing investments.

  • Develop and champion best-in-class marketing measurement methodologies, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.

  • Take ownership of incrementality testing and media experimentation to enhance ROI and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data teams in Commercial, Product, and Finance to ensure alignment in methodologies, shared learnings, and commercial impact.

  • Act as the key strategic partner for marketing leadership, providing data-driven recommendations that shape our marketing approach.

  • Automate marketing analytics processes, leveraging AI and cutting-edge tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation.

  • Serve as the go-to expert for marketing data, ensuring all marketing initiatives align with broader business intelligence efforts.

We’re looking for someone who is eager to take ownership, build something incredible, and truly shape the future of marketing analytics at Lunar. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

  • Proven experience in a marketing data analytics or business intelligence role, ideally with a strong commercial focus.

  • Expertise in advanced attribution models, including MMM, machine learning, Bayesian techniques, and media mix modeling.

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.

  • Experience with Looker, Funnel.io, dbt, AWS, Redshift, Airflow, Git, or similar technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-level reporting.

  • A passion for automation, AI-driven analytics, and streamlining marketing data processes.

  • Experience working cross-functionally, ensuring data-driven marketing decisions are aligned with commercial goals.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience in high-volume, complex data environments such as fintech, banking, or large-scale consumer technology companies.
