Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Asset Performance and Optimization Team at Ignitis Renewables, where you’ll ensure all O&M (Operations and Maintenance) and Technical Asset Management information is robust, digitized, and accessible. You will contribute to a green and secure energy ecosystem by:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines
- Managing internal databases
- Ensuring data reliability, including data availability tracking and reporting
- Working with Data Analyst and other teams to find the best solutions for reporting and analysis
- Leading initiatives to understand data needs and improve workflows
- Identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability and usability across teams and technologies
Qualifications
- An academic degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, MS SQL Server, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in programming and database query languages (e.g., Python, SQL), data manipulation (e.g., pandas, regex), ETL tools or custom Python-based ETL solutions
- Advantageous: Familiarity with NLP (e.g., Elasticsearch), process optimization tools (e.g., Power Automate, Uipath), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills to interpret requests and select best solutions
