Data Engineer

Mission Overview:

As part of its operations, Keystone Solutions is currently seeking 2 Data Engineers to undertake a critical consultancy mission at a client site in Gosselies. This is a full-time position, estimated to last for 9 months (renewable), with the aim to commence on 01/04/2025. While a portion of the work may be conducted remotely in agreement with the project manager, a minimum on-site presence of 2 days per week in Gosselies is required. Additional on-site days may be requested based on service needs. Given that Gosselies is not easily accessible by public transport, possessing a driving license and a vehicle is preferred for travel purposes.

Context of the Mission:

The Data Developer/Engineer sought will join the Factory Data team utilizing Azure data technologies:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop data ingestion flows through Fabric Data Factory (and understanding of Azure Data Factory);
• Develop data transformation flows via Fabric Factory Notebook;
• Optimize Queries for transformations, particularly considering associated Azure costs;
• Contribute to Lake House modeling;
• Establish technical design and implementation of the medallion architecture (silver & gold) in Microsoft Fabric;
• Establish unit test plans (automatable) for the solution;
• Monitor/executing unit tests;
• Participate in effort estimation related to development activities during project scoping;
• Write technical documentation;
• Contribute to continuous improvement (development guidelines);
• Contribute to maintenance and incident resolution (production).
