Overview:
The Data Scientist will be responsible for supporting the data science team in analyzing large datasets, building predictive models, and generating actionable insights to improve business performance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

- Gather, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
- Assist in building machine learning models for tasks such as customer segmentation, product recommendations, sales forecasting, and fraud detection.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of models in production environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Technology, to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
- Present findings and insights in clear, actionable formats through dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow and model training processes.
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data infrastructure and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in machine learning and data science.
- Experiment with new algorithms and approaches to improve existing solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Basic understanding of SQL for querying and managing databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries like Matplotlib/Seaborn).
- Exposure to machine learning concepts, including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analysis.
- 0-2 years of experience in a data science, analytics, or related role (internships or projects in data science are highly valued).
- Experience working with e-commerce data or projects is a plus.
