The Firefly GenAI engineering team is looking for a passionate Full Stack Web Engineer to enable and accelerate the Adobe GenAI creative flows powered by state of the art machine learning models.

Our goal is to seamlessly enable users to transform Creative Intent into Creative Success, through GenAI features, in our revolutionary content creation application: Adobe Firefly.

We are looking for a tenured software engineer who will be responsible for delivering the user-facing application experience of cutting-edge cloud based generative AI features on Adobe Firefly. This is a unique opportunity to work on powerful new and state-of-the-art generative technologies. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Project Managers and ML engineering teams to deliver amazing GenAI products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance Web Components using Lit or React.

• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate GenAI-powered APIs seamlessly.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient front-end code using modern frameworks.

• Ensure performance optimization through profiling tools and analytics.

• Build and maintain automated tests to ensure application reliability.

• Implement best practices for accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and delivering commercially successful web applications with Lit or React.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6+).

• Deep understanding of computer science principles, debugging techniques, and software architecture.

• Experience optimizing front-end performance for high-speed rendering.

• Familiarity with front-end security best practices.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience integrating generative AI models into web applications.

• Familiarity with UX design, design systems, or close collaboration with design teams.

• Knowledge of WASM, WebGPU, canvas rendering, and asynchronous performance optimization.
