Job Description:

The Data Engineer will be responsible for hands-on coding using Python, SQL, and Spark, as well as building and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines. The tech stack includes AWS, Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Python, and SQL, with Agile development using Jira for sprint planning and status tracking.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building data pipelines, working with AWS services, and managing large-scale data warehouse solutions in Snowflake.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from multiple source systems into AWS/Snowflake.
  
• Work with AWS cloud services including RDS, Glue, EMR, EC2, S3, and PostgreSQL to design scalable data solutions.
  
• Implement data transformation workflows using dbt Cloud.
  
• Write efficient Python & SQL code to manipulate, process, and analyze data.
  
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
  
• Participate in Agile development sprints, user story grooming, and status tracking using Jira.
  
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed in all data pipelines.
  

Must-Have Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong background in data pipeline development.
  
• Extensive experience with AWS architecture including RDS, Glue, EMR, EC2, S3, and PostgreSQL.
  
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse solution.
  
• 3+ years of experience with dbt Cloud, including modeling, transformations, and performance tuning.
  
• Strong proficiency in Python & SQL, with a focus on writing optimized, production-ready code.
  
• Experience working in Agile development environments, using Jira for sprint tracking.
  
• Fluent in English, with experience collaborating remotely with U.S.-based teams.
