Your Job

• Leading interdisciplinary and international teams in the development and implementation of innovative and complex NLP and GenAI solutions
• Providing comprehensive advice to management stakeholders on strategic questions and initiatives related to NLP, machine learning and GenAI
• Overseeing international and interdisciplinary teams in the integration of AI and GenAI solutions within the corporate environment
• Assuming full responsibility for AI projects including quality control
• Developing a deep understanding of current research and advancements in natural language processing (NLP), generative AI, large language models (LLMs) and agentic frameworksand their significance in a corporate context
• Continuously staying up to date on the latest developments to effectively apply this knowledge to improving existing systems and pioneering innovative solutions
• Designing, developing and deploying GenAI applications using LLMs, agentic frameworks, databases and related technologies according to best software engineering principles, while establishing benchmarks with performance metrics to rigorously evaluate and monitor the applications 
• Mentoring team members and promoting talent development and specialist knowledge

Your Profile

What you should have.

• Master's or PhD in computer science, data science or a related field with a strong focus on AI, NLP or generative AI
• At least three years of relevant work experience and proven practical experience
• Expertise in advanced NLP techniques, machine learning and Generative AI, with a demonstrated track record of implementing or managing GenAI projects in a corporate environment 
• Hands-on experience with LLM and related frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, Langfuse etc.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), SQL and No-SQL DBs and the productive use of GenAI frameworks
• Expertise in prompt engineering, foundational LLM models, agentic AI, search engines and techniques, vector stores and embeddings, GenAI evaluation and monitoring methods
• Production-level knowledge and hands-on experience in developing RAG and agentic GenAI applications using Python frameworks on Azure or other platforms
• Experience with Python programming language
• Understanding of software engineering principles and basics
• Knowledge of deployment using Git, Docker, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Strong leadership skills, strategic planning ability and experience in building and guiding interdisciplinary and international teams
