The opportunity

You will work with a wide variety of clients to harness the power of Physical AI and robotics to achieve their strategic goals. Your teams will design and build scalable solutions that unify, enrich, and derive insights from varied data sources across a broad technology landscape. You will help our clients navigate the complex world of modern data science, modelling, and engineering. We’ll look to you to provide consulting services to ensure physical AI solutions are properly engineered and maintained to support the ongoing business needs of our clients.

In our Data and Decision Science practice, this role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI systems. You will be at the forefront of enhancing data pipelines and ensuring the integrity of data for optimal performance. Your expertise will help shape the future of AI solutions across various environments, including cloud and on-premises.
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for researching, building, and implementing scalable artificial intelligence systems that meet diverse business requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Enhancing data pipelines and storage to ensure data is clean, accurate, and optimized.
- Monitoring and optimizing learning processes to improve high-performance models.
- Collaborating with data and analytics professionals to industrialize analysis into actionable solutions.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will manage complex processes and projects while maintaining a focus on quality and risk management. You will lead teams to achieve performance objectives and provide deep insights into best practices for solving complex problems. This position requires regular travel to engage with clients and manage relationships effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships daily.
- Accountable for program/project management and engagement economics.
- Developing resource plans and budgets for engagements.
- Leading a team working with a wide variety of clients to define, develop and operationalize their physical AI strategy at scale.

- Developing and executing a comprehensive physical AI Strategy that aligns with the client’s goals, mission and vision
- Leading teams of Physical AI engineers and data scientists in delivery of modern robotics and autonomous systems solutions for clients
- Staying abreast of physical AI technology trends and provide directional guidance and recommendations around robotic platforms, sensing, and software tools and solutions that fit their needs and integrate with their existing ecosystem
- Applying combined business and technical knowledge to develop and execute target architecture that enables implementation and monitoring of Physical AI at scale
- Collaborating with Data Scientists, Mechanical Engineers, Cloud Engineers, MLOps Engineers, DevOps to implement and sustain solutions in the client’s platform of choice
- Staying abreast of industry trends, technology innovations and regulatory requirements across the globe
- Understanding clients’ overall physical environment, data, AI and technology landscape and business priorities and success measures
- Strong team collaboration and experience working with a diverse team in a hybrid model (on site and remote)
- Working on large-scale client engagements. Fostering relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently delivering quality client services. Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Focused on Business or Economics, Technology Entrepreneurship, Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning
- Typically, no less than 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 8-10+ years of professional consulting experience in business or technology consulting or similar roles
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience directly managing technical teams and/or consulting teams
- Experience in robotics and autonomous systems controls, sensing, modeling and simulation, e.g., NVIDIA Omniverse, Cosmos, Isaac, Jetson, Unity, ROS, ROS 2, Matlab and Simulink, OpenCV, RobotStudio
- Experience with a variety of robotic platforms, e.g., humanoid, quadruped, wheeled, aerial
- Extensive experience using DevOps tools like GIT, Azure Devops and Agile tools such as Jira to develop and deploy analytical solutions with multiple features, pipelines, and releases.
- A solid understanding of Machine Learning (ML) workflows including ingesting, analysing, transforming data and evaluating results to make meaningful predictions.
- Experience with ML development methods and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLFlow.
- Strong skills in Python.
- Experience with CI/CD and test-driven development.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining ML models, frameworks, and pipelines.
- Experience designing and deploying end to end ML workflows on at least one major cloud computing platform.
- Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software engineering best practices.
- Proficiency using data manipulation tools and libraries such as SQL, Pandas, and Spark.
- Clearly communicating findings, recommendations, and opportunities to improve data systems and solutions.
- Experience with containerization and scaling models.
- Willingness to travel to meet client obligations.
- Strong knowledge of physical AI technologies and frameworks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- A deep understanding of and ability to teach concepts, tools, features, functions, and benefits of different approaches to apply them.
- Master's degree Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or other quantitative field.

What we offer We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $176,500 to $403,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $211,800 to $458,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
