Overview

  • We are seeking a Senior Manager – Data IntegrationOps to support and oversee data integration and operations (IntegrationOps) programs for our growing data organization. In this role, you will play a key role in driving scalable and automated data integration strategies, streamlining data movement across systems, and ensuring high reliability, efficiency, and security of enterprise-wide data exchange processes. This position requires hands-on expertise in enterprise data integration, ETL/ELT automation, cloud-based data platforms, API-driven integrations, and operational excellence.
  • Manage and oversee data IntegrationOps programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, data governance standards, and enterprise data strategy.
  • Implement real-time monitoring, automated alerting, and self-healing capabilities within Data Integration platforms to enhance uptime and performance.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of data integration governance models, operational frameworks, and execution roadmaps for seamless data integration delivery.
  • Ensure standardization and automation of data integration workflows, report generation, and dashboard refreshes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data movement across cloud and on-prem platforms, ensuring data availability and accuracy.
  • Support Data & Analytics technology transformations by contributing to full sustainment capabilities, including data platform management and proactive issue identification with self-healing mechanisms.
  • Assist in driving a culture shift towards a data-first organization, aligning with PepsiCo’s Data & Analytics program and global data engineering efforts across sectors.
  • Promote operational excellence through continuous improvement of data integration processes, enhancing reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica IICS, PowerCenter, DDH, SAP BW, ECG, MDT, Teradata, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong understanding of API-driven data integration techniques, including REST APIs and Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data integration platforms like Azure Data Services, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery.
  • Experience in automating data pipelines and implementing DevOps for integration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, GitOps, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with data observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and custom monitoring solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, Spark, or other data transformation technologies.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, AI/ML, CloudOps, and DataOps teams to enable data-driven decision-making and improve data reliability.
  • Support end-to-end data integration operations and sustainment by testing and monitoring processes to ensure high-quality service for global products and projects across sectors.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of data products, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and engaging with SMEs to meet business demands effectively.
  • Actively contribute to the work intake and Agile management process for data platform teams, driving strategy and excellence to meet PepsiCo’s business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, advocating for seamless data integration and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement automation-based operational processes to enhance system efficiency and resilience.
  • Establish and maintain incident and crisis management processes to ensure rapid mitigation and resolution of service outages.
  • Engage directly with customers, demonstrating active listening, problem-solving, and transparency to address challenges and set appropriate expectations.
  • Promote a customer-obsessed culture by empowering team members to advocate for customer needs and continuously enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and data services.
  • Build and nurture a diverse, high-performing team capable of meeting current and future business objectives.
  • Foster an agile environment by removing barriers to productivity and enabling the team to shift priorities quickly without compromising quality.
  • Develop and maintain the organizational structure, resource plans, and culture necessary to support business objectives and customer deliverables.
  • Leverage technical expertise in cloud and high-performance computing to gain a deep understanding of business needs, build trust, and drive operational success.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.
  •  Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of technology work experience in a large-scale, global organization – CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Integration, Data Operations, and Analytics.
  • 8+ years of experience in working within cross-functional IT organizations, collaborating with multiple teams such as Data Engineering, CloudOps, and DevOps.
  • 5+ years of leadership/management experience in managing high-performing technical teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong expertise in ETL/EAI tools such as Informatica IICS, PowerCenter, DDH, SAP BW, ECG, MDT,  Alteryx, AbInitio,Teradata, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud-based data integration platforms like Azure Data Services, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery.
  • Experience in API-driven data integration (e.g., REST APIs and Kafka) and cloud infrastructure technologies.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, GitOps, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including automated remediation, improved scalability, and proactive monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain highly technical concepts to varied audiences, including senior business leaders.
  • Proven ability to advocate for customer needs effectively, prioritize feedback, and drive alignment across different teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and foster lasting relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT teams.

  • Proven ability to balance business and IT priorities by identifying mutually beneficial paths forward in complex situations.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and driving consensus across virtual teams and multiple functions.
  • Ability to align teams to a shared vision, develop a strategic roadmap, and ensure execution while realizing desired business benefits.
  • Solid understanding of master data management (MDM), data standards, analytics, and concepts related to digital transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of data acquisition, data cataloging, data governance, and tools used in data management.
  • Openness to learn new skills and technologies in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and willingness to stay ahead of industry trends in data integration and cloud technologies.
