Summary
As Health Data Integration Engineer at Gainwell, you will implement the data platform for the Population Health Management tools and services. This will include working with a team of product managers and partners responsible for integrating our partner solutions and building out the analytics capabilities.

Your role in our mission
- Develop test and deliver Healthcare IT architectural solutions
- Communicate solution to both a technical and non-technical audience.
- Standup, configure and administer data integration (HealthShare)
- Analyzes and documents client's technical requirements
- Designs and builds functional data integration systems
- Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support these modifications.
- Assists in coordinating business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provide support to other team members.
- Assists in analyzing testing results in all phases.
- Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project.
- Collaborates with cross-functional team of analysts, business and technical architects, vendors, product managers; provides subject matter expertise during design, build, testing, and ongoing maintenance of tech stack.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years' experience working on data integration solutions such as HealthShare (preferred), Rhapsody, interface engines, EHR, HIEs, etc.
- 5+ years healthcare IT applications and/or data models, preferably with a strong knowledge of healthcare data integration (FHIR, HL7, CCD, C-CDA, X12, Claims, APCD-CDL, etc.).
- Experience with programming languages and environments (e.g. Java, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, SQL, .NET, C#, C, C++, XSLT, XPath, XML, etc.),
- Experience in InterSystems database architecture (Iris, Cache, etc.) preferred
- Web application developer (UI layer or middleware) is a plus.
- Experience with CCD and C-CDA documents strongly desired
- Demonstrated end to end hands on experience with FHIR with various HL7 integration engines and technical/business analysis and development (ADT, ORU, ORM, DFT, MDM)
- knowledge of coding standards like LOINC, SNOMED, ICD9/10.
- Experience with X12 file formats also desirable
- Experience with file parsing (XML, XSLT, etc.)

The pay range for this position is $97,300.00 - $139,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
