Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled SETA AI/ML specialist to support a dynamic science team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in machine learning and molecular biology, with knowledge of biophysics and computer science. They should be able to apply rigorous engineering principles to biological systems, particularly in the design and implementation of proteins and cell-scale molecular models. These efforts will focus on creating robust, tunable software solutions with precise, programmable functions, particularly in traditionally data-poor areas of machine learning.

Required Experience:
- Advanced Degree in Physics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or Engineering
- Prior experience with tools in silico, a little in vitro and in vivo
- Deep understanding of current trends and emerging technologies in programming of machine learning/deep learning architectures, particularly experience with developing large language models tuned to millions of parameters
- Extensive experience with biophysical modeling of large biomolecular systems (5 million+ particle count), including but not limited to multiscale and/or all-atom molecular dynamics methods.
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals and/or patents demonstrating novel computational methods.
- TS/SCI Clearance
Desired Experience:
- Have experience with high performing computing (HPC) on National exascale supercomputers
- Experience with bioinformatics and protein structure prediction
