Your mission

 

 

Are you passionate about data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies? Join our dynamic team and contribute to innovative AI-driven solutions that support data-driven decision-making and business transformation. You will work in an innovative environment at the heart of the energy transition, working closely with business units in grid analytics and innovation.

 

As a Data Scientist, you will:

 

  • Leverage electrical power system knowledge to develop data-driven and AI-powered solutions for power grid analytics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business experts and data engineers in the electricity field.
  • Use JupyterLab for data exploration, model development, and prototyping of machine learning solutions.
  • Design and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations using Grafana.
  • Apply 'traditional' (such as ARIMA and SARIMA) and AI-powered (such as RNNs, LSTMs, CNNs) time series analysis techniques to forecast and analyse energy consumption, grid stability, and load demand.
  • Research and apply state-of-the-art AI techniques to solve business problems and optimize energy sector operations.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security within cloud-based infrastructures.

 

 

 

Your profile

 

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in machine learning and data science and analytics.
  • Proficiency in using JupyterLab or AWS Sagemaker for interactive data analysis and model development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy and Statsmodels.
  • Expertise in time series forecasting techniques, such as RNNs, LSTMs and GRUs.
  • Knowledge of Grafana (or similar tools) and experience in developing real-time dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data processing and analysis.
  • An understanding of big data technologies, distributed computing, and real-time processing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
  • Basic understanding of electricity markets, grid operations or energy analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a proactive communicative mindset.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus
