ML Developer

    Handle commercial analytics projects, specifically marketing mix, customer and brand performance analytics, forecasting, segmentation & targeting projects with proficiency
    Interact and communicate with internal counterparts in different Business Units and external clients to gather project background, business requirements and end objective
    Support development and analytics activities in Advanced Analytics Team

Role & Accountabilities:
    Work across projects such as promotional return (ROI analysis), Resource and price optimization analysis, Physician / patient profiling
    Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently and efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines
    Ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions
    Develop a good understanding of consumer offerings, proprietary databases, and analytical approaches to effectively guide and support client-facing IQVIA counterparts across globe mainly in Europe and US
    Present findings and recommendations to counterparts in business point of view
    Handle small and large projects independently / with project lead and help the team in building solutions for various business problems
    Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem-solving ability with demonstrated hands-on work experience in analytics
    Should be a quick learner and open for new technologies. Should pick up domain knowledge and relevant technical skills quickly
    Work independently on defined tasks with 100% ownership on outcomes and timelines
    Clearly communicate project outputs and identified risks to concern project team
    Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations
    Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others as well as an individual
    Proper documentation of all the project related activities

Education, Skills & Experience:
    Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics / Econometrics / Statistics / Operations Research / Mathematics / Data Mining
OR
B. Tech / MBA with relevant experience
    4 - 6 years of experience in analytics using the following skills:
o    Proficiency in MS office applications such as Excel and Power Point. Experience in Excel VBA or other dashboarding technologies is a plus
o    Proficiency in base R, Python, SQL and SAS
o    Advanced analytics analyses such as Hierarchical models, Linear & Non-Linear Optimization Techniques, RNN, CNN etc.
o    Analytical techniques like regression (linear & logistic), PCA, Factor analysis, Cluster Analysis, Decision Trees, Random Forest, SVM, GBT and Time Series analysis

Good to have:
    Familiar with pharmaceutical domain, concepts, and terminologies, understanding of broader healthcare market dynamics (broad themes/latest trends in the pharma industry etc.)
    Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated
